River City Food Bank’s mission is to alleviate hunger in Sacramento County by providing consistent access to healthy, meaningful food for all. We help people avoid crisis and stay stable by offering short-term food support when budgets fall short. Our no-barrier programs serve low-income families, children, seniors, refugees, medically fragile individuals, people experiencing homelessness, and anyone facing food insecurity — no zip code restrictions. In 2024, we provided nearly 3.5 million pounds of nutritious food to 327,264 neighbors across Sacramento County.
